A little over 12 hours ago I received the phone call telling me Paul O'Neill had passed away. This is an obvious shock, and it is not easy to put this into words. This will affect millions of people, mostly his wife and daughter. I feel terrible for them, let's please keep them in our thoughts.
I met Paul in the Spring of 1994 and my life was forever changed. I immediately knew he was one of the most unique people I had ever met, and he proved that to me time and time again over the years. He was also one of the most intelligent, driven, stubborn, and most important, one of the kindest people I have ever met. Paul made many of my dreams come true, and seriously my music career would not be what it is without him. He was my boss, my teacher, my friend and was always there when I needed help or advice. I am proud to have been his drummer for the past 23 years, and proud to have been his partner in this unbelievable trip we have been on. What has been achieved is amazing, and none of this would have happened without his insane commitment and drive. His words and music will live on forever.
Thank you Paul. Rest In Peace
