Years later he came to be a huge influence in my life, not just for his music, but the way he approached everything, just taking it as it comes and living for the day. We both lived life to the full, and aside from a shared appetite for pussy, drink and drugs, we also shared the same down to earth attitude and sense of humour, which got us through all the craziness which surrounded us. There is a terrible coincidence relating to the day he died. That day, myself and the guys in Maiden were making our debut appearance on Top of the Pops, when I became the first singer to perform live on the show for almost a decade. We?d refused to mime, so they bent the rules for us. So there I am, riding high as a rock singer, and there was Bon, my idol, lying dead in a car, a few miles across London.

Δεν λεω οτι οι maiden ειναι τα καλυτερα παιδια, και κυριως στο παρελθον, οπου επιδιδονταν σε μεγαλες κραιπαλες. Μετα την powerslave εποχη ολα αυτα σταματησαν, (συμφωνα με τον harris παντα.) Επισης δεν λεω οτι τα αλλα αγαπημενα μου συγκροτηματα δεν παιρνουν. Απλα με τους maiden ειναι αλλιως για μενα, ειμαι πιο δεμενος μαζι τους απο καθε αλλο συγκροτημα.

Η φωνή του Di Anno είναι πολύ σπαστική για τα γούστα μου, γι’ αυτό ψηφίζω Bayley. Κανείς απ’ τους δύο όμως δεν είναι αντάξιος του Dickinson…
Αν και θεωρω τον Blaze Bailey αρκετα καλο τραγουδιστη(ακυρη επιλογη για Maiden ομως)παντα ειχα μια συμπαθεια στη φωνη του Di’Anno και τoν ομωνυμο δισκο της σιδηρας παρθενου μιας και ειχε καποιες πολυ δυνατες συνθεσεις(Running free,Iron Maiden κλπ)αλλα και καποια πιο μελωδικα διαμαντια(πχ τη κομματαρα Strange world και το Remember tomorrow)που δεναν με τη φωνη του Paul.Η σημερινη του κατασταση ομως αλλα και οι δηλωσεις του(ειδικα αυτες)σημερα τον εχουν οδηγησει σε καταντημα αλλα και στη γραφικοτητα.Κριμα και παλι κριμα.
