Τα σπασανε και live.
Μάλλον ο αγαπημένος μου δίσκος της προηγούμενης δεκαετίας. Τοπ 3άδα πανεύκολα. Black Future, Hunger for Violence από την μία, Accelerating Universe, Forests of Legend από την άλλη, δεν ξεχνιέται πόσο μου τινάξανε το κεφάλι το 2009, τι ήταν εκείνο το πράμα. Και ακόμα με πιάνει το ίδιο.
Μιας και είμαι εδώ: Αυτές τις μέρες ακούω τους Children και την προηγούμενη μπάντα του κιθαρίστα/τραγουδιστή τους. Είναι περιπτωσάρες τεκ θρας, βασικά δεν είναι τεκ θρας, από σπόντα πάνε εκεί. Είναι πάντως κάτι που ξεχωρίζει πανεύκολα:
"Just found this album and band, bit late to the party since they have split up, leaving behind just their debut.
New Yorkers. Stands out from the crowd right away.
The video is not the most representative sample of the album, which is way more nuanced and weird and proggy (Voivod/Anacrusis proggy) and interesting musically. But it is so cool in its own right and will give you an idea of the kind of dudes you are dealing with here…
My eternal complaint about indifferent vocals in modern metal is kind of a given but there is enough character to look past that and concentrate on the music. After a while, dude sounds just fine!"
Και οι S.T.R.E.E.T.S. που είναι επίσης πολύ ενδιαφέροντες. Τα ακούω καιρό τώρα αυτά, μου αρέσουν πολύ.
