So ya know with Velvet Revolver, it’s like Duffs got his own thing, I’ve got my thing, Matt’s got his thing. If a great singer comes and says I want to sing for Velvet Revolver and we all go yeah, we’ll make a Velvet record. But I can do my own thing – I don’t have to go back and do that. Unless it’s good enough to do it, you know what I mean.
So next year I definitely will make another Slash record with Myles Kennedy – and go on tour. [B] So at least for the next couple of years nothing is going to be happening with Velvet Revolver[/B] – that I can see because I’ll be focused on this. And after that’s over if something happens – I’m not really concerning myself with it right now. We had all these different guys try out, all really good singers – but nobody has fit the thing so, ya know, I have to move on.

[B]STRATOVARIUS’ ‘Dreamspace’-Era Lineup To Release New Album In January[/B]
Former STRATOVARIUS leader and current SYMFONIA guitarist [B]Timo Tolkki[/B] has teamed up with fellow ex-STRATOVARIUS members [B]Tuomo Lassila[/B] (drums), [B]Anti Ikonen[/B] (keyboards) and [B]Jari Kainulainen[/B] (former member of EVERGREY) to record a new studio album. The CD, which will be released in January 2012, will celebrate STRATOVARIUS’ 30-year anniversary and will feature the same lineup as the one that recorded STRATOVARIUS’ “Dreamspace” LP, originally released in 1994.
For legal reasons, the band’s original name ? PROJECT STRATO ? had to be scrapped. More than 20 songs have been written for the project, including “Return To Dreamspace”, “Digital Jesus”, “Santiago”, “Chevaliers De Sangreal”, “Full Circle” and “Farewell No. 2”.
“Return To Dreamspace” will see Timo Tolkki handling the vocals again and the fans of the “Twilight Time”/“Dreamspace” era will surely not be disappointed.
Regarding the musical direction of the CD, Tolkki previously said, “It has been [17] years from [STRATOVARIUS’ ‘Dreamspace’] album, so it will be interesting, for sure… It’s not a ‘remake,’ but a brand new album. A closure for [what] I consider to be the end of STRATOVARIUS. It completes the cycle and returns to the beginning.”

Ο Dave Mustaine των Megadeth δημιούργησε μια νέα μπάντα μαζί με τον κιθαρίστα Dan Spitz (ex-Anthrax).
Όπως αναφέρεται η μπάντα θα ονομάζεται Red Lamb. Το άλμπουμ τους θα μιξαριστεί από τον Johnny K ο οποίος θα είναι επίσης παραγωγός στο νέο άλμπουμ των Megadeth.

Ο BLAZE BAYLEY αποχαιρέτησε τα μαλλιά του!!!
Τέσσερα χρόνια μετά απο την διαφήμιση για την Optima Hair Specialists ,μία εταιρία απο τις πρωτοπόρες στην αντικατάσταση μαλλιών στην Βρετανία, ο πρώην τραγουδιστής των IRON MAIDEN και νύν των WOLFSBANE αποφάσισε τελικά να ξυρίσει τα μακριά του μαλλιά και να μείνει γλόμπος!
