I´m very happy to present my 5th full lenght album, ALL THOUGHTS FLY, a solo instrumental pipe organ album incoming on @southernlordrecords on 25th September.
To celebrate the release we’re releasing the first single “Sacro Bosco” with an accompanying video by Gustaf and Ludvig Holtenäs.
“Sacro Bosco in Bomarzo is a creation carved out from one man’s head. A frozen thought lasting throughout time and touching people across generations. All thoughts fly, Ogni Pensiero Vola, is about this: the importance of sharing for surviving, creating space and evolving. Once you’ve shared your words they are not only yours anymore."

Ο Steve Reich είναι από τους σπουδαιότερους συνθέτες συχρονης μουσικής, έχει συνθέσει ένα σκασμό από “ακαδημαικά” αριστουργήματα. Κάτι κοντά στον John Cage, ας πούμε.

Πώς φτάνουμε από το νέο άλμπουμ της Anna von Hausswolff στο Twin Peaks του Lynch? Εύκολα.
Η Αννούλα έβγαλε καινούριο άλμπουμ, μετά το εξαιρετικό Dead Magic, το οποίο και είναι σολο εκκλησιαστικό όργανο. Δεν είναι εύκολο άκουσμα, αλλά έχει ενδιαφέρον για άλλη μια φορά.
Στο εξώφυλλο η καλλιτέχνις ποζάρει στο πάρκο Bomarzo που είναι γνωστό και ως “κήπος των τεράτων”… Το πάρκο Bomarzo με τα γκροτέσκα γλυπτά του εμφανίζεται σε μια τελειωμένη b-moviά των αρχών των 90’ς, το “Μeridian:kiss of the beast”, μια εκδοχή της ιστορίας της πεντάμορφης και του τέρατος με αισθητική βιντεοκασέτας και την οποία για κάποιον ανεξήγητο λόγο έχω δει. Το γλυπτό που εικονίζεται στο εξώφυλλο του δίσκου στην ταινία αποτελεί μία πύλη για έναν άλλο κόσμο, από τον οποίο μπαίνει στο δικό μας ο περίεργος θίασος και το “τέρας” της ιστορίας. Η πεντάμορφη της ταινίας δεν είναι άλλη από τη Σέριλιν Φεν. Η Φεν έγινε γνωστή ως Audrey Horne στο Twin Peaks του David Lynch.

Το 'χουμε ξαναπεί, αλλά και δε νομίζω ότι δεν έχει νόημα να το επαναλαμβάνουμε. Η Αννούλα στα live το πάει σε άλλο επίπεδο το τραγούδι της. Το σανίδι είναι η “γη” της, το “χώμα” της. Πολύ ωραίο το πρώτο δείγμα.
