Δεν το’χω ακούσει ακόμα γιατί αυτό τον καιρό δεν είμαι στη ΦΑΣΗ, αλλά ο τίτλος φέρνει συνειρμούς… :roll:

O δισκος ειναι αψογος ! Δεν περιμενα με τιποτα τοσο καταπληκτικο δισκο
απο τους converge να πω την αληθεια…
Η διαψευση ηταν καταιγιστικη και αποστομωτικη ομως !
Μου εχει ανατιναξει το μυαλο. Σκετος δυναμιτης.
Κατι σαν το τσεκουρι που πεφτει ενα πραγμα.
2ο καλυτερο album της καριερας τους στο χαλαρο - για να ειμαστε και λιγο συγκρατημενοι.
Λοιπόν θέλω να μοιραστώ με την ομήγυρη μια σκέψη που την έχω ήδη εκφράσει στο Red Rum, και συμφώνησε μαζί μου.
Οι Converge είναι για τη γενιά μας ό,τι ήταν οι Slayer για τη δεκαετία του '80. Προφανώς όχι από πλευράς μουσικού ύφους έτσι; Βγάζουν όμως ανάλογη ΤΣΙΤΑ. ΒΙΑ. ΠΑΡΟΞΥΣΜΟ. Σε αντίστοιχες ποσότητες με τους Άρχοντες. Και πραγματικά δεν πίστευα ποτέ ότι θα το έλεγα αυτό για δεύτερο συγκρότημα. Έλεγα, “εντάξει τώρα, εδώ έχουν υπάρξει οι SLAYER ας πούμε. Γιατί το κουράζουν όλοι οι υπόλοιποι;”
Κι όμως. Πλέον υπάρχουν και οι CONVERGE. Χμ, πλέον… εδώ και χρόνια ουσιαστικά το έχουν καταφέρει, αλλά μάλλον τώρα, μετά από τόσες και τόσες συνεχόμενες δισκάρες, πρέπει νομίζω να αναγνωριστεί αυτό ως μια γενική αλήθεια ή κάτι τέτοιο.
Σκατά, ο ειρμός μου είναι για τον π****ο. Με κατέστρεψαν για άλλη μια φορά οι άτιμοι οι Converge. Μου έκαψαν το μυαλό ε, χωρίς πλάκα.
Καλά εγώ δε μπορώ παρά να συμφωνήσω. Kαι δε θα μπορούσε να είναι κι αλλιώς, αφού οι ίδιοι έχουν παραδεχτεί τους Slayer σα βασική τους επιροή. Είναι πλέον αδιαμφισβήτητα για μένα οι διάδοχοι των αρχόντων. Δηλαδή, για να το κάνουμε λιανά, φανταστείτε να άνοιγαν γι΄ αυτούς. Πόσα πλευρά θα είχατε σπάσει μετά?
Να πω την αλήθεια, δεν περίμενα να χτύπαγαν τόσο υψηλά επίπεδα ξανά. Μένει να τους δούμε, όταν έρθει η κατάλληλη στιγμή.
Καλά ναι, αυτό που το βάζεις; Οι Converge είναι ένα από τα ελάχιστα συγκροτήματα που έχω δει (και δεν το συζητάμε ότι ήταν ό,τι πιο ντελιριακό και “αούαααααα” έχω δει πάνω σε σκηνή) και δε θα με χάλαγε καθόλου να ξαναδώ… και να ξαναδώ… και να ξαναδώ… και να ξαν…

Καγκελο ειχα πιασει και φυσικα με τοσο ξυλο που πεσε ποναγαν τα κοκκαλα μου για κατι μερες. Μιας και δεν ειμαι κι ο πιο χεβυ μεταλ ανθρωπος σε θεμα κιλων, ομολογουμενως.
Ναι, αλλά οι ΤΡΟΥ τους είχαν δει και στο Αν το 2005. :bleh:

Πρώτη πιο καλτ σίγουρα και μόλις είχε βγει και το γιου φέηλ μι, αλλά δεύτερη πολύ καλύτερο σετλίστ.

Eγώ κρατάω αυτά εδώ, γιατί είναι πιο κοντά στις σκέψεις μου κάθε φορά που ακούω το δίσκο.
Εντωμεταξύ με το Γρακχο τους βγάλαμε Slayer της γενιάς, αλλά μάλλον ο χαρακτηρισμός Black Flag είναι ακόμα πιο σωστός!
Φοβερό το Wretched World, αλλά και το Cruel Bloom δεν πάει καθόλου πίσω. Το 'πα και το ξαναλέω, ο δίσκος παίζει πάρα πολύ γερά για νούμερο ένα της χρονιάς.
