δεν μου άρεσαν τα νέα !!! την προηγούμενη φορά ήταν φοβερό live… και είχα τις ίδιες προσδοκίες και για σήμερα, αλλά μετά την πληροφορία ότι ‘‘κατεβαίνουν με αναπληρωματκούς’’ άρχισα να το φοβάμαι!
η Θεσσαλονίκη τι λέει αξίζει το 20e η να το πιω μπύρες πουθενά αλλού??
Jane Doe που προλαβα κανα 30λεπτο τους μου φανηκαν καλουλιδες η φωνη οντως φαινοταν λιγο ‘‘ανεπαρκης’’ σε καποια σημεια αλλα οχι τπτ τραγικο.
Panosavl. εγω παντα θα προτιμησω λαιβ απο το να πιω τα λεφτα σε μπυρες οποτε δε ξερω τι να σου πω. τους εχεις ξαναδει και μαλλον σε καλυτερη εμφανιση οποτε σκεψου το. παντως ξαναλεω οτι εμενα μ’αρεσαν πολυ δλδ την επομενη φορα εκτος απροοπτου θα ξαναπαω να τους δω
Όχι, ρε παιδιά, αξίζει το live, τι να λέμε τώρα. Μάλιστα ο ένας ο κιθαρίστας ήταν θεούλης, τον πήρανε τώρα στη Βουλγαρία, ήξερε όλα τα κομμάτια κλπ. Γαμάτη φάση, ούτε στα πιο τρελά του όνειρα λογικά.:lol:
Με τον μπασίστα 2 ώρες πρόβα, λέει, και ξεκίνησαν το tour. 'Ηταν και σε κάποιες photo στο Facebook τους, αν θυμάμαι καλά. Πάντως σε κάποια τραγούδια έπαιζε ο τραγουδιστής το μπάσο, μάλλον δε θα τα ήξερε.

Πολυ μετριο το χθεσινο λαιβ στην Αθηνα…φωνητικα αδυναμα να ανταποκριθουν σε αρκετα σημεια,και γενικα πολυ μετριος ηχος με τα vocals να βγαινουν υπερβολικα μπροστα χωρις λογο.καμια σχεση με τη λαιβαρα του 07.κριμα
γενικά ο ήχος ήτανε πολύ χαμηλά, και μόνο τα φωνητικά μπροστά, και χάλαγε αρκετά τον ήχο τους αυτό…
φαίνεται πάντως πως ο justin δεν ψάχνει πια τραγουδιάρη που να μπορεί να μοιάζει με τον volk. βγάζει πολύ δυναμισμό αυτός εδώ, και όχι την παραίτηση που είχε ο volk.
τα καινούργια τα εχτίμησα παραπάνω στο λάιβ αλλά στα παλιά όποτε έμπαινε η φωνή με ξενέρωνε φουλ.
ο προσωρινός κιθαρίστας, οκ, σίγουρα έφταιγε το άγχος αλλά έκανε γύρω στα 15 λάθη ανά τραγούδι. και αν κατάλαβα καλά προσπάθησε να τον γειώσει ο ηχολήπτης, αλλά όταν η κιθάρα του σφύριζε δε μπορούσε να κάνει κάτι…
στα θετικά, ερωτεύσιμη η daisy, πολύ τίμιος ο justin και καλό και το setlist
αν δεν τους είχα δει το 11 ίσως να έλεγα πολύ καλύτερα λόγια

Διαφωνώ, πολύ καλό ήταν το live κατ’ εμέ. Και οι Afformace που είδαμε μετά από καιρό, πολύ καλοί, παίξανε 4 κομμάτια (καινούργιο υλικό ως επί το πλείστον) στη μισή ώρα που κράτησε το set τους. Οι CBP είχαν τα γνωστά προβλήματα με την ξαφνική αποχώρηση κιθαρίστα/μπασίστα, αλλά εμένα δε μου φάνηκε ότι είχε γίνει κάτι τέτοιο. Ο ήχος εκεί που ήμουν ήταν μια χαρά. Η αρχή ήταν λίγο υποτονική, μιας και παίχτηκαν κυρίως νέα κομμάτια, όμως μετά το μισάωρο ανέβηκαν όλα, διάθεση, αντιδράσεις κόσμου, κλπ. Ο κόσμος ήταν πολύς, δεν το περίμενα.
EDIT: και δεν ήταν μιάμιση ώρα που γράφει ο Μάνος Πατεράκης στο review, ήταν δύο ώρες παρά πέντε λεπτά.
Παντελή έχεις δίκιο για την ώρα. Παίχτηκε βλακεία με την ώρα που είχα σημειώσει ότι ξεκίνησε. Ε και χάνουμε την αίσθηση του χρόνου όταν βλέπουμε Crippled.
Ναι, μπράβο, αυτό ήταν.

Attention CBP fans.
Unfortunately, after not turning up for the past shows, Karl Demata and Christian Heilmann have stolen MY band name. They are trying to stop me using MY band name as of the 1st Jan. Karl Demata has also, without my knowledge registered MY band name in HIS name as a trademark, he did this in December 2012, essentially steeling what is mine and has been for many years, and my own band name since 2004. 5 years before Karl joined. He has now taken down our CBP band facebook page.
I have good friends and people who are helping with this. Hopefully we can get it all back up and running soon.
Karl Demata is a scumbag coward thief.
Also to note. I tried calling Karl on the phone several times, to talk like grown ups… he won’t pick up, so i left messages for him, non-threatening but i told him what i think of him. He has now reported me to the Police, who called me today.
I say again, Karl Demata is a scumbag coward and WILL NOT get away with this.
If you see Crippled Black Phoenix anywhere being used without Justin Greaves, you know it is false, and a result of theft. Karl Demata has been planning this for a while, lying to me and his band mates, this is pure theft of what i have put my heart and soul into for many years.
Words ca not describe my utter sickness i feel. It is the lowest shitbag thing to do to anyone.

so it has been way to long since last time i have updated this page. So first of all an apology is due to all CBP fans in Greece. I haven’t been able to embark on this mini-tour this time. Things have been too hectic and something must have weighted in on me more than usual so on Monday with fever and other ailments i had to give up.
Let’s look on the bright side though. There are some very exiting news coming up and some major changes and … well, you will see very soon. Stick around!

It has come to my attention that some offensive and misleading statements have been posted on Facebook and sent to many contacts, especially the people somehow involved in CBP.
I won’t dignify any of the comments I have seen. Some are simply malicious, other are ill-informed.
But I do need to clarify as follows:
I have tried repeatedly to resolve all issues within the band, without involving outside parties. Numerous other band members have tried to address issues as well, without any results. There was always a “later”, a “maybe” and a “not now”, for years now. Failing that, legal means are the only option left.
Furthermore, I was hoping all could have been handled with a civilized tone, which I have endeavored to maintain, whether amongst ourselves or in the legal proceedings. But I seem to have overestimated.
At no time have I ever received any royalties for record sales, nor money from sales of merchandise and records on Bandcamp or any other on-line distribution channels. Furthermore, some of the products on sale on bandcamp are actually “bootlegs” for which the band was never informed, had never given consent for, and of course, was never paid for. Never!
Over the years, I have collectively lost thousands of pounds of my own money financing various tour expenses and have even loaned money to a band member who was chronically short on cash - never got any money back from him… I did this out of belief in the band and a sense of brotherhood and good faith, only to be treated with indifference and contempt. Any hopes of remuneration were long ago abandoned.
We have been kept away from any real benefit (both financially and otherwise) despite the fact that many of us have put all they could (and more) into this. I and many other have been working on this band pouring our heart and soul and being made to feel like little more than hired help, kept in our place.
In regards to the name Crippled Black Phoenix:
Of course there’s much more to it that what it has been said. I do not feel the details affect anyone not in the band. However, to counter the numerous public assertions that I am a calculating, thieving bastard, suffice to say that:
1 - I do not intend to profit any way from the name. I never made any money with CBP, and never will.
2 - Once all is settled and some kind of agreement has been reached I will transfer the Trademark to ALL MEMBERS OF CBP, past and present. All people who have given so much to this band for nothing. People who left the band with nothing to account for because they felt insulted, cheated, belittled and humiliated by the actions (or non-actions) taken in the running of the band. This can only be a partial remuneration (and a sign of gratefulness and justice) for all the work done by so many great musicians, friends, brothers and sisters.
After all this I wish to move on, work on new things, with people i love, respect and trust.
