As for the floyd-ish sound of today,i can’t think of anyone that’s even close to what Floyd did.I heard many bad replicas and some of the worst uninspired covers.#-o [-X .Some artists took floydian elements and evolved them,but like them…none that i know of!Honestly…

Great bands you mentioned especially Porcupine Tree (one of our favorites) but he mentioned the most unknown closest music. Besides you think progressive and progressive only . Think a little ?classic rock in the English way!
He told me that many terrorists are Floydians so it?s time to reveal and stop messing with you guys as he wanted minor teasing, lol . Part of his Dutch stop was because of them . He is a huge fan from the beginning because in the end the classic rock sound always comes first for him.

Mostly Autumn is a great band!!! I really love them!!! :thumbup: Although I admit I first heard of them because of Heather Findlay’s appearence at Ayreon’s Human Equation (what an album!!)

Ok, Mostly Autumn are superb, even though I don?t actually consider them as for being the Floyd of today. A friend gave me a M.A. DVD some? 3-4 years ago, so I am a fan since then. Unfortunately their cd?s are not distributed in Greece, believe it or not!
Anyway, go tell Daz that M.A. where Uriah Heep?s guests on their ?Magician?s Birthday Party? concert two years ago

Hey Cozy . MA is well known only in UK and Holland i’m afraid but this didn’t stop people who own credit cards right? I have some time to debate about the similarity with PF. Let’s take this the other way around.
When you listen to songs like goodbye alone , last climb , porcupine rain , gap is too wide , mother nature etc. what kind of feeling do you have?

Mostly Autumn is also a personal favorite!Angelic voice,floyd-ish melodies,folk elements what more can somebody ask for? Cozy is (almost)right about the distribution of their cd’s in Greece,the’re hard to find for sure,but i’ve spotted some from time to time. Although credit cards are the best solution as you said!The similarities with Pink Floyd are perfectly balanced with inspired songwriting adn they co-exist with the band’s personal sound!That makes them a great band from my point of view.

Για το Οριανθάκι λέτε ρε? Παλιά ιστορία, παλιά ερχόταν σπίτι μου και τζαμάραμε, εγώ πλήκτρα και αυτή κιθάρα… Σιγά-σιγά αναπτύχθηκε ένα συναίσθημα -από τη μεριά της ειδικά- και μιά μέρα μετά από άφθονη μπυροποσία και τζαμάρισμα, επήλθε το μοιραίο… Την επόμενη μέρα έγραψε το lights of manos.
Δυστυχώς αναγκάστηκα να την παρατήσω γιατί με πίεζαν οι υποχρεώσεις και αυτή ήθελε κάτι σοβαρό…
Τέσπα, όπως είπα είναι παλιά ιστορία, προχώρησε ελεύθερα trustno1 σου δίνω το ελεύθερο… Μόνο μην της βάλεις να ακούσει ποτέ Red Sparowes την στιγμή της κορύφωσης γιατί κάτι παθαίνει!8)
