Οι Mani Deum είναι ένα post-folk noir/neocabaret/exprimental σχήμα, κάτι που οι ίδιοι ονομάζουν “Infected Folk & Roll”.
Aποτελούνται απο εφτά άτομα και τα όργανα που χρησιμοποιούν είναι Φωνές και Kιθάρες, Πιάνο, Μελόντικα, Κρουστά και Drums, Μπάσο, Βιόλα και Theremin. Οι επιρροές τους κυμαίνονται σε ένα φάσμα που πίανει καλλιτέχνες όπως Current 93, Nick Cave, Leohnard Cohen, Johnny Cash, 16 Horsepower και φτάνουν πίσω στα 30’s και 40’s.
Η τελευταία τους δουλειά “Five Infected Blessings” ep, κυκλοφορεί σε cd και βινύλιο απο την Dead Scarlet records, ενώ αναμένεται το επομενο full album, “Music For Your Local Church…Or Your Local Brothel” .

Mani Deum is a folk noir/experimental/neocabaret project, something that they call “infected folk ‘n’ roll” group, born in 2005. On late 2006 they release their first d.i.y cd. On 2007 they start to participate on festivals and concerts and they release 2 more mini cd’s. Their influences is a mixture from the 80’s neofolk bands (as Current 93, Death In June, Sol Invictus) , the dark blues bands (like Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Leonarhd Cohen), early industrial music (Throbbing Gristle, Einsturzende Neubauten, S.P.K), dark Americana (16 Horsepower, The Denver Gentlemen) and go back even to the 30’s and 40’s cabaret…
Their latest ep called “Five Infected Blessings”, and contains five infected folk ‘n’ roll tracks , plus one bonus track , featuring Dimo Dimov (Svarrogh) on vocals. A vinyl edition soon will follow , with different artwork and different bonus track. At present time Mani Deum are: P.(Vocals, guitars, music, lyrics), Man0s.K (Vocals, guitars, music, lyrics), Evgenia (Piano, percussions, Melodica), Jason (Bass, percussions), Panos (Theremin), Nick (Violin, Viola) and Mr.XIII (Drums).
