Προσφατα αρχισα να ακουω,και τους εχω λατρεψει.Το “To the nameless dead” ειναι επικο!
OΛΑ τους είναι επικά.
συμφωνουμε ολοι οτι αυτο το κομματι ειναι το ΓΑΜΗΜΕΝΟ ΠΕΙΚ τους, δλδ οποιος δεν εχει συγκινηθει στο ακουσμα του, λεγεται ασπλαχνος και ειναι πιο κακος κι απ’ τον σκελετορ.
ξεθαψα το αλμπουμ καθως ερχομουν απο πατρα και οι λιγoστες σταγονες της βροχης που σκαγαν στο μπαρμπριζ μου φαινοντουσαν σαν αιματα αδικοχαμενων πολεμιστων με αποτελεσμα να ποτισω με δακρυ τα αξυριστα μαγουλα μου.
Eγώ δε συμφωνώ. Είμαι μεηνστρημ τύπος και λέω μακράν Coffin Ships.
Ανατριχίλα το Coffin Ships, στα 3 καλύτερά τους, αλλά το κλάμα πέφτει με αυτό που λέει ο εορτάζων Νομιστεράκης (χρόνια σου πολλά!), και με το Sons of Morrigan.
Ειδικά όταν βγαίνει και λέει στο live, “whatever you do on this world stays alive”, όταν προλογίζει το τελευταίο, ΛΙΩΝΩ. Και η μελωδία του μέχρι να τελειώσει με το fade out, με γονατίζει.
Πραγματικά, είναι από τις ελάχιστες μπάντες που θα με καναν να κλάψω όταν μπω στο κλίμα του κομματιού.

Απο τα κομματια που σε κανουν λιωμα πραγματικα, συνισταται η καπακι ακροαση του Gallows End για σιγουρη αυτοκτονια

βασικα τα πιο παλια λενε ασχημα αλλα να ξες τα πρωτα 2 ειναι black metal με λιγη ακουστικη κιθαρα που δηλαδη τα σπανε και σε αυτο το ειδος, ειδικα το Imrama δινει ρεστα
Oύτε το Journey’s End το λες blackmetal.
Η πρώιμη περίοδος δε με έχει ενθουσιάσει και ιδιαίτερα, απλώς δεν είναι του γούστου μου. Ευτυχώς που άλλαξαν ύφος!
Πες μου ότι δε σ’ αρέσει το Autumn’s Ablaze να τρελαθώ!!

Irish pagan masters PRIMORDIAL will release their first-ever DVD, “All Empires Fall” in Europe on March 1 via Metal Blade.
Disc 1 of the two-disc set is the centrepiece of the DVD and features a full PRIMORDIAL headline show recorded live on January 24, 2009 in the band’s hometown of Dublin, Ireland. The concert was filmed with five cameras and has an exceptional vintage look due to the hard work in post-production. A truly impressive and powerful live gig, exciting from start to finish in front of die-hard PRIMORDIAL audience and a perfect soundtrack that is available in stereo and 5.1!
Disc 2 features live clips from the band’s appearances at Ragnarök Festival (Germany), Hove Festival (Norway) and Graspop Metal Meeting (Belgium) in 2008. The second disc also contains a band documentary with all the inside stories and loads of ancient footage from the early stages of the band. The documentary has a playing time of approximately 60 minutes. Interviews with all band members and rehearsal footage complete the second disc of the set/
The special deluxe version of “All Empires Fall” features expanded packaging and two additional audio CDs featuring the Dublin show.
Commented vocalist Alan “Nemtheanga” Averill: "The gods have been working hard dogging the release of our first DVD, ‘All Empires Fall’, but finally we are ready to prevail.
"The DVD will contain our Dublin show from last year, a documentary and bonus material from recent festivals. The special edition will contain the audio discs of the Dublin show, so you can hear how some old classics are played now, some almost two decades after writing.
“So how does it look? The simple answer is and without exaggeration possibly one of the best metal live shows I’ve ever seen. We filmed it on analog reels, cut it with frightening pace and mixed it up with some very unconventional camera angles. It has the feel of a classic show from the late '70s ? not the clean, clinical digital vacuum most modern shows are filmed in. We also invested a lot of time, money and effort, so don’t expect one of those free recordings most festivals and soundstages offer. As normal, we didn’t do anything conventionally so there are no boring balcony stills or side-of-stage montages. No overdubs, auto-tuning or drop-ins; we are proud that ‘All Empires Fall’ shows us as we are and as a PRIMORDIAL show always is. Blood and thunder and no quarter given from start to finish?”

Storm Before Calm.
χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη. Κατ’ αρχάς διότι από εκεί τους έμαθα, δευτερευόντως επειδή, τώρα που έχω ακούσει τα πριν και τα μετά, εξακολουθώ να πιστεύω πως είναι ό,τι πιο ισορροπημένο ηχητικά και παθιασμένο έχουν βγάλει.
Ομολογουμένως με κάθε άλμπουμ ξεφεύγουν ακόμα πιο πολύ, αλλά το Calm Before Storm είναι απλά…τέλειο…!
Ακόμη θυμάμαι τις ανατριχίλες όταν πρωτοάκουσα το Heretics Age
και τι τιμη ε.??
