There is the epic song, ‘Clockwork Angels,’ which is really taking shape. It’s a multi-parted piece, very dynamic," Lifeson says. "Then there’s some stuff that’s very melodic and on the softer side, on acoustic, with a strong melody. So there’s great diversity there. Honestly, I can’t wait until we start really working on these songs. We’ve sort of got them to the stage where Geddy and I were happy with the arrangements and then Neil kind of comes in and starts working on his drum arrangements, and they go from there.

από τότε π ειδα το ντοκυμαντερ για αυτούς(εδώ κ 3 βδομάδες τουλάχιστον) δν έχει υπάρξει μέρα π να μην έχω βάλει έστω κ μια φορά ένα αλμπουμ τους . κατεβάζω μπουλεγκς , βιντεο τα πάντα όλα ! είναι μεγάλο κόλλημα . λέτε με το καινούργιο να είμαστε τυχεροί κ να τους δούμε ? τι ζητάω , ε ?
μόλις είδα και εγώ το dvd ,όντως πολύ καλή δουλειά.
το πόσο μεγάλη και επιδραστική μπάντα είναι , Είχα αρχίσει να το καταλαβαίνω από τις συνεντεύξεις άλλων συγκροτημάτων διαφόρων ειδών ,π.χ. θυμάμαι σε μια συνέντευξη του Stanne των Dark Tranquillity για το νέο ,τότε, The Gallery ,που ανέφερε ως βασική του επιρρόη τους Rush και τον θαυμασμό, του deathα συντάκτη.
Ε , απο τότε μπήκα και εγώ στο κύκλο των Rush.

It’s been a banner year for the award-winning “Classic Albums” series. The most recent editions explore ground-breaking releases by TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS and BLACK SABBATH. Continuing the tradition of this celebrated series, “2112 & Moving Pictures Classic Albums” carries us through the creation of these musical masterpieces via brand new interviews, demonstrations, archive videos, and use of the original multi-track tapes. The titan trio of bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson, and drummer Neil Peart, joined by original producer Terry Brown, weigh in on the mammoth melodies, resounding riffs, and dynamic drum fills behind these immense aural soundscapes. Many others contribute to the commentary, such as FOO FIGHTERS drummer Taylor Hawkins and acclaimed Rolling Stone journalist David Fricke. 112 minutes in total, this DVD digs even deeper with 50 minutes of bonus material not included in the recent VH1 Classic broadcast.
These legendary albums mark pivotal points in RUSH’s career. “2112”, released in 1976, broke the band into major music chart domination, going #1 in their native Canada and in the Top 75 in the USA, where it was certified triple platinum. “Moving Pictures” added fuel to their rising stardom, opening them up to a mass audience with heavy-hitting hits like “Tom Sawyer”. Going #1 and quadruple platinum in Canada, as well as hitting #3 in the USA and the U.K., this 1981 release remains their biggest selling album to date. RUSH is currently performing this album in its entirely on its “Time Machine” tour. “Rush: 2112 & Moving Pictures Classic Albums” is a perfect encapsulation of what made these albums successful, and why they are revered to this day.
Πολυ ενδιαφερον, γενικα ολη η σειρα ‘‘Classic Albums’’ τα σπαει, δειτε οσα δεν εχετε δει και σας ενδιαφερουν. Πολυ καλη δουλεια, συνεντευξεις απο τα μελη των συγκροτηματων, ιστοριες για τις ηχογραφησεις και το background των αλμπουμ που παρουσιαζονται… Παντα προσεγμενα και ενδιαφεροντα, οποτε περιμενουμε με ανυπομονησια και αυτο.

Ήθελα να πάω σαν τρελός να τους δω σε εκείνο το live στο Ροτερνταμ που γράψανε το DVD στην περιοδεία του Snakes αλλά ο ηλίθιος τράκαρα το αμάξι μου 1 μήνα πριν και όλα τα λεφτά πήγανε για να φτιάξω τη ζημιά…:evil:
Πάλι καλά που τους είχα δει στο Λονδίνο στην R30 δηλαδή και μου είχε φύγει από τότε ο μεγάλος ο καημός:D
