Δεν έχει κυκλοφορήσει ακόμα, αλλά το περιμένουμε και λογικά θα βγει μέσα στους επόμενους μήνες
Στις 10 Φεβρουαρίου 2010 στο επίσημο site τους έγινε η παρακάτω ανακοίνωση από τον Christofer Johnsson:
I’m happy to announce that Therion are now entering the later phases of the recording of the new album, which will be mixed at the legendary Polar Studios in Stockholm. The album title will be Sitra Ahra. 13 songs are being recorded, but it is at this moment not certain which, or if all, of those will end up on the actual record.
Επίσης τέλος Οκτωβρίου θα ξεκινήσει η ευρωπαϊκή περιοδεία για το άλμπουμ και ελπίζω να είναι και η Ελλάδα στο πρόγραμμα των Σουηδών.
Εγώ την έχω μια ανησυχία αν και εμπιστεύομαι απόλυτα Christofer και τα οράματα του…Πιο πολύ μου την έχει δώσει η αποχώρηση Snowy Shaw(έφυγε?) και Mats Leven που είναι φωνάρες…
O Leven εχει πραγματικα ΦΩΝΑΡΑ αλλα ο Snowy Shaw…? Nταξ, δε θα πεθανω κι απ την στεναχωρια αν δεν ειναι στο επομενο. Παντως φωναρα ειναι και ο καινουριος (Thomas Vikstrom, Chapter VI ρεεεε).
παιδιά, οι Therion δεν είχαν τον ματς και τον σνοουι σαν μόνιμους τραγουδιστές. απλά με τον ματς έκατσε και συνεργάστηκαν αρκετά. λυπήθηκα όταν άκουσα ότι ο ματς δεν θα τραγουδάει πια με τους therion. πιο πιθανό είναι να συνεργαστούνε σε στούντιο κυκλοφορία καθώς ο ματς έλεγε πως δεν ένιωθε άνετα με το να είναι ένας απ τους 4 τραγουδιστές ενώ τόσα χρόνια ήταν το φροντμαν της εκάστοτε μπάντας που ήταν. ακούω και τις εκτελέσεις (κυριολεκτικά ομως) του βικστρομ και με πιάνει η καρδιά μου.
Ακριβώς! Ο Vickstrom δεν πρέπει να ναι στα καλύτερα του γενικώς από ότι έχω ακούσει στο οποίο συμμετέχει…αλλά ειλικρινά δεν πιστεύω ότι ο Christoffer δεν ξέρει τι κάνει!!
The release date of the new album draws ever nearer and it is time to release more information about the upcoming release.
It may come as a surprise to many Therion fans, but we can now reveal that the coming album will have a purely Christian theme. As Chris himself explains: “I know I previously have rejected monotheistic religions quite strongly. But as you grow older you have to rethink why you believe what you believe, and I cannot really find any strong reasons to reject Christianity anymore. Actually, Christianity has influenced Therion lyrics before and it is not difficult to find Christian references in especially the older Therion albums.”
For those of you who have been fans of Therion, Chris is very fond of teasing the Therion fans. He has promised that the first person that can guess the correct link between Sitra Ahra and Christianity will get a special online listening session of the new album as soon as it is finished. Post your suggestions in the forum and I will contact the winner should any of you possess the knowledge required.

Πρόσφατα, ο mainman των Therion, Christofer Johnsson, δήλωσε πως το επερχόμενο cd είναι κάτι πραγματικά εξαιρετικό, ακόμα και για τα στάνταρντ των Therion.
παντα με φοβιζουν. Παρ’ ολα αυτα οι Therion δεν με εχουν απογοητευσει ποτες, και δε σταματω να ελπιζω!
Therion touring/session vocalist Snowy Shaw (his birth certificate reads Tommie Helgesson) has quit the band after four years, two studio albums, live DVD’s and numerous tours around the world.
In a message to Blabbermouth.net, Snowy Shaw states: “I’ve had a terrific and great time touring and working with Therion and I do wish them nothing but the best in the future, but I’ve felt for some time that it’s time for me to move on. I also wanna take the opportunity to show my gratitude and thank all the loyal fans for their support, love and understanding.”
Shaw ? who has previously toured and/or recorded with Dream Evil, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate and Memento Mori, among other acts ? was forced to sit out this weekend’s show with Therion at the Rock Harz Festival in Germany due to sickness. This would have been Snowy’s last appearance with the band.
Snowy has written and co-written songs for the forthcoming Therion album, Sitra Ahra, which is scheduled for release in September through Nuclear Blast Records.
Shaw’s departure from Therion will not affect the group’s upcoming live appearances, as singer Thomas Vikström will handle Snowy’s parts at the Rock Harz Festival and on the upcoming tours in South/Central America, Mexico and Europe.
