Nα πώ τότε ότι στους Metallica ένα παιδί είχε φάει γονατιά καθώς βρισκόταν στο moshpit και ήταν σωριασμένος κάτω στο έδαφος και σπαρταρούσε. Ηρθαν οι πρώτες βοήθειες από το φεστιβάλ κι από κει και πέρα δεν γνωρίζω την τύχη του. Επίσης στους Paradox μου είπε γνωστός μου ότι μεταφέρθηκε κάποιος φίλος του στο νοσοκομείο… Φυσικά εννοείται ότι ο καθενας μπαινει με δική του πρωτοβουλία στο moshpit, κάνει crowdd surfing (πράγματα τα οποία έχω κάνει μέχρι το πρόσφατο παρελθόν) Θα πρέπει όμως να είναι προετοιμασμένος για όλα τα τυχόν δυσάρεστα παρελκόμενα…
Ναι… Το θεμα ειναι οτι ειναι ελαχιστες πιθανοτητες χωρις να μπεις μονο σου στο mosh pit ή να πας για crowd surfing να παθεις κατι. Μετα σε μεγαλες συναυλιες απο τρελη πιεση μπορει να φας καμμια λιποθυμια αμα εχει και ζεστη… Αλλα αυτο της γονατιας το βαζω στο “βλακωδες” moshing, γιατι δεν ειναι και ευκολο να φας γονατια ετσι, οσες φορες εχω μπει ή εχω δει, το “ξυλο-ξυλο” αλλα δεν παμε για να σακατεψουμε και τον αλλο…

After a couple of turbulent weeks we have now finally mastered our album.
When we listened to the finished product for the first time we all agreed that we were beyond satisfied with the result and can’t wait for you to hear it! We have also decided to post video teasers for you to enjoy, there will be a new “trailer” every month up until we release the damn thing and oh, the title for it is " T O R N " !
Complete tracklisting will be presented here as soon as we have decided what songs will end up on special editions and / or bonus tracks for singles etc.
Other than that I am glad to read that all of you seem to love our new Evergrey “EY” logo. It will look pretty cool on a shirt that’s for sure.
Tomorrow we play a show in Mariestad with our friends from All Ends so those of you who have the chance please stop by.
Summer festivals and tours for the fall are being booked as I write so be sure to check this area for all official confirmations. We will start rehearsing songs from TORN next week so MAYBE, and I mean maybe, we will play some of them in Finland in two weeks. Playing Finland is always a blast and it’s nice to be with people that can keep up with us on the booze . Both me and Jari have lot’s of relatives and friends coming out to the shows so that should be fun.
Tampere on the 19th and Helsinki on the 20th be sure to join in if you have the chance.

Original KILLING JOKE Lineup Reunites After 25 Years For New Album And World Tour - Feb. 29, 2008
After numerous lineup changes through the years, all original KILLING JOKE members have reunited for a new album and world tour.
Drummer Paul Ferguson has rejoined the band for the first time since 1987, enabling a whole new generation of fans to see KILLING JOKE’s legendary original formation. Diehard fans have been waiting for this moment for two decades! Bassist Martin “Youth” Glover also steps back into the live arena after a near-15-year hiatus, having not played live with KILLING JOKE since 1994’s Pandemonium tour.
The tour will see KILLING JOKE take up a two night residency in most venues offering a different set on each evening. On the first night, they will play their first two albums in their entirety, 1980’s self-titled album followed by the LP “What’s This?For!” Their second performance in each city will treat fans to 1994’s “Pandemonium” and the Island Records singles of '79 to '80.
Once described by Ferguson as “the sound of the earth vomiting,” KILLING JOKE is anthemic and grandiose in its evocation of nightmare visions. Taking a sarcastic jab at authority and perceived reality to a sonically charged mixture of post punk and metal, KILLING JOKE’s heavy guitars and pounding tribal drums conjure a primitive atmosphere of doom, gloom and resistance.
Notorious for their use of inflammatory imagery, a backlash against a world they perceived as ever more materialistic, unjust and conservative, KILLING JOKE, railed against the establishment and created a unique sound from their very conception.
Ironically, in the current musical climate with its obsession with rehashing Eighties sounds, the '80s saw KILLING JOKE really pushing music forward, incorporating danceable elements with aggressive, grinding guitars and thumping drums. With elements of proto-techno rock, their post apocalyptic vision has inspired bands as diverse and influential as NIRVANA, MINISTRY, NINE INCH NAILS, FOO FIGHTERS, SOUNDGARDEN and GODFLESH. KILLING JOKE have always been and continue to be more than just a band.
Godfathers of post-punk, KILLING JOKE return with their eagerly anticipated new album to coincide with their world tour. The release date for the new CD will be announced later.
Frontman Jaz Coleman comments: “At last a ray of sunlight to illuminate these dark days. It is indeed my deepest pleasure to announce the dates of the 29th anniversary of the gathering. Opeth - Two-Disc Special Edition Re-Release
Peaceville Records are releasing “Still Life” (2 CD special edition including 5.1 surround Mix). Still will be a 2 disc edition of the classic Opeth album.
"This new 2 disc edition of the critically acclaimed “Still Life” features a re-mastered stereo mix of the album on CD plus DVD with new 5.1 surround sound mix plus “Face Of Melinda” filmed live in London. The artwork has been re-worked by original designer Travis Smith.
“Still Life” was Opeth’s first outing for Peaceville. Blessed with renewed enthusiasm, the band delivered yet another flawless gem of an album.
Like “My Arms, Your Hearse” before it, “Still Life” was originally recorded at Gothenburg’s famous Studio Fredman under the watchful eye of engineer Fredrik Nordström, and has now been re-mastered and re-mixed by Jens Borgen at Fascination Street Studios.
Packaged in a rigid double digipack book. Release has been slated for March 31st, 2008 on pre-order sites. Cover art can be found here.

Lightbulb Sun reissue
A brand new edition of the long out of print 2000 Porcupine Tree studio album “Lightbulb Sun” will be issued next month.
Along with “Recordings” (also due for reissue later this year) the album is the missing part of the PT discography. It contains the original studio versions of PT favorites such as Shesmovedon, Russia On Ice, Hatesong, and Feel So Low, and has been lavishly revamped into a definitive 2 disc set. Disc one is a CD containing a pristine remix / remaster of the album, while disc two is a DVDA (playable on any DVD player) containing the album remixed into 5.1 surround sound (in DVDA and DTS versions), as well as a 24 bit high resolution version of the stereo mix, and the original 2000 mix/master. Also included are 5.1 mixes of bonus tracks Disappear, Buying New Soul, and Cure for Optimism, which were recorded during the same sessions. This is the definitive version of one of the essential albums in the PT catalogue.
The album is officially released on 21st April through KScope / Snapper, but is available to pre-order now from the PT Store - these pre-orders will ship 2 weeks earlier. Εμενα μαρεσει γιατι ειναι το πρωτο που ακουσα απο Opeth.
Ασε που εχω δωσει καπου την κοπια μου με τα εξωφυλλα και τους
στιχους και δεν ξερω που ειναι.
εγω αρχισα κατευθειαν με το Blackwater Park και αφου (βεβαια) μου εκλεψε την καρδια , πηρα το (αγαπημενο μου) My Arms Your Hearse
ωσπου μιλουσα με εναν φιλο και μου πε οτι βρηκε ενα παλιο τευχος hammer με συνεντευξη του Akerfeldt , για το Still Life. μου πε οτι θα ναι σιγουρα καλυτερο οπως καταλαβε απο τον προκατοχο του
δεν το εψαξα κατευθειαν , προτιμησα να παρω το Deliverance (αλλη δισκαρα)
ωσπου μου το δωσε ο Bacillus το Still Life μαζι με το Morningrise
το 2ο το λατρεψα , αλλα το Still Life δεν με κερδισε και τοσο , μου αρεσουν πολυ μερικα κομματια αλλα οχι το συνολο
οντως ειναι θεμα γουστου…
Για να ψιλοστηριξω Ντεθστερ (
) το Still Life ειναι κιε μενα το top favorite, αν και πρωτα ακουσα το Blackwater Park. Ματτερ οβ τέιστ που λενε.
Παρολα αυτα δε κοβω να το παιρνω. Δηλ, τα μπονους δε με συγκινουν τοσο ωστε να σκοτωσω τη παλια εκδοση. Και οχι τιποτ’ αλλο, ειναι η δευτερη σε σειρα επανεκδοση. Δηλαδη ελεος, δεν εχουν περασει δα και τοοοσα χρονια.
Επειδη ο Ντεθστερ δεν εχει την κοπια του ψηνεται να το παρει.
