Unfortunately we?re sad to announce that two bands are forced to cancel their upcoming appearances at Hellfest 2011.
The first one, and not the least, is [B]TRUST[/B]. Here is the band’s official statement :
“Unfortunately Trust will not be playing on the 18th of June 2011 at Hellfest festival. The band will not be performing any concerts for an indefined period of time. We would like to point out that that it is not linked in any way with the organization of the Hellfest event.”
The second cancelation is [B]LOCK UP[/B] originally scheduled to play Saturday, June 18th under the Rock Hard tent. A problem in their tour schedules has forced the band to cancel this performance.
We apologize for these two changes and we would like to announce the bands who will be replacing them, as well as the 3 surprise acts you were all waiting for!
With great pleasure, we can confirm that [B]IN FLAMES[/B] and [B]DOWN[/B] will be playing at Hellfest on June 17th and [B]DARK TRANQUILITY, DUFF MACKAGAN?S[/B] [B]LOADED[/B] and [B]STATIC-X [/B]will be playing on Sunday, June 19th!
Also note that ANGEL WITCH and HAIL OF BULLETS will be performing on the Saturday, June 18th, instead of on the Sunday, June 19th as originally planned.
Again we would like to apologize for these line-up changes!

This year seems to be going quite differently, after all the recent cancellations, the festival must also announce the cancelation of [B]Gorguts[/B] and [B]Skeletonwitch[/B]…
You are probably starting to think that there’s been a lot of drop-outs and changes, and we understand. In the last announcement we didnt really give any reasons why we had to cancel so many bands, but we think now that it’s important to give you a bit of insight on what goes on when you organize such an event. As fans ourselves of extreme music, nothing is more frustrating than having to cancel certain already booked artists, bands which for some of you are the reasons why you decided to make the trip to Clisson. Hellfest has always tried to informe its festival-goers as best as it can, this is why you will shortly be able to read a press release regarding the organization of the festival and in which all will be explained.
In the meantime, here are the names of the artists who will replace the 2 new “deserters”. Firstly this is our friends of [B]POSSESSED[/B], one of the founders of death metal, a real true cult band! It has always been one of our top priorities and after numerous unsuccessful attempts to book them, we have asked them to replace GORGUTS (you’ll discover soon why they have canceled their upcoming tour).
We are particularly proud of having managed to reach an agreement for a unique passage to Europe this summer! We?re proud to welcome a really rare band which will celebrate its first appearance at HELLFEST…
The second one is the brutal death metal band [B]SEVERE TORTURE[/B] from the Netherlands which will also come to HELLFEST for its first appearance.
We truly hope that you?ll enjoy all the efforts that we do to find good replacements!
We always do our best to satisfy you and we will still do it despite what some people can say !
δυστυχως ετσι ειναι…δεν εχει ανακοινωθει επίσημα, αλλά ακύρωσαν ήδη την εμφάνιση τους στο Graspop και επιπλέον αφαίρεσαν όλα τα λαηβ τους από τις 12 Ιουνίου και μετά.

Μια η ακυρωση Disturbed, δυο η αποχωρηση Downing, τρια ενα αλλο θεμα που εχει να κανει με μπαντα αλλα δεν θελω να μοιραστω και τονους προσωπικα…Σκατα μερα…

Φυσικα ελπιζω να μην κατεβασουν τους The Cult πιο κατω στο προγραμμα γιατι ειναι ο κυριος λογος απο μπαντες που δεν εχω δει και παω να δω…Θελω τουλαχιστον 1 ωρα…
