Ο μπασίστας Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Dio), o drummer A.J. Pero (Twisted Sister) και ο κιθαρίστας Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob), ένωσαν τις δυνάμεις τους για την δημιουργία ενός ακόμα supergroup, τους TRED. Οι TRED αυτή τη στιγμή δουλεύουν πάν σε νέο υλικό για κυκλοφορία τον Ιανουάριο του 2012.
Ο τραγουδιστής της μπάντας λέγεται ότι είναι πολύ γνωστός και θα αποκαλυφθεί αργότερα μέσα στην εβδομάδα.
Ο Orlando δήλωσε: ?15 κομμάτια είναι στην προ-παραγωγή. Σύντομα θα ανακοινώσουμε τον τραγουδιστή. Ο A.J., ο Rudy και εγώ είμαστε πολύ ενθουσιασμένοι με την μπάντα. Είναι τιμή μου που είμαι εδώ όπως και στους Adrenaline Mob. Σίγουρα το 2012 θα είναι ενδιαφέρον?
Οι Obiat ετοιμαζουν νεο υλικο με καινουργιο ντραμιστα και μπασιστα.
2011 has been the toughest year for Obiat so far. We have lost our rhythm section due to relocations driven by recession, but what does not kill us makes us stronger.
We gained new drummer - Jon our old friend who we used to jam with in the past. He brought fresh energy to the band as well as some weird and jazzy bits, and we have new bassist Pete of Akercocke, Gonga and End of Level Boss fame.
As for today we have half of the new album ready and we are going to demo it this Sunday!!!
Corey Smoot, the [B]GWAR [/B]guitarist known as Flattus Maximus in the wildly costumed metal band, was found dead by his bandmates earlier today as they prepared to cross the border into Canada. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Smoot, who joined the long-running band in 2002, had the longest tenure in the Maximus role. He became an integral part of the band, co-producing its albums ‘Beyond Hell’ and ‘Lust in Space.’ The band has not decided what to do about remaining tour dates, said frontman Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) in a statement. “At this point we are just dealing with the loss of our dear friend and brother, one of the most talented guitarists in metal today,” he wrote.
During the well deserved break we took from shows this year we’ve been preparing new music, and now we are happy to announce that we have entered Drumforest Studios at Viitasaari to record our fifth full length album, which will be released [B]February 1st 2012[/B] by Spinefarm Records.
Drumforest Studios is an atmospheric studio built in an old school middle of Finland in Viitasaari. It’s the perfect environment for the legendary sound engineer Mikko Karmila to capture our signature sound. Mikko is well known in the metal world for his work with such names as Nightwish, Sentenced, Amorphis and Children of Bodom, just to name a few, and we’re very happy to work with him.
Νόμιζα ότι το Electric Eye όποιος και να το παίξει δεν μπορεί να ακουστεί κακό. Μετά απ’ αυτό άλλαξα γνώμη. Αλλά σκέφτηκα ότι το Hellion δεν ήταν τόσο άσχημο. Ε μετά έβαλα και το αυθεντικό και άρχισα να γελάω.
Διαλύθηκαν και οι Thursday. Εντάξει, δεν θεωρώ ότι ήταν και κάτι το απίστευτα πρωτοποριακό και πρωτότυπο μουσικά, αλλά ήταν πάντα ιδιαίτερα συμπαθείς, και έχουν και μερικά ωραία τραγούδια.
