Εγώ άλλο πράγμα θίγω…Ότι κάθε ένας είναι έτοιμος να δεχτεί την οποιαδήποτε “είδηση” για την βορειο Κορέα, για την Κούβα κλπ, όσο παράλογη και αν είναι, ασχέτως αν υπάρχουν αποδείξεις ή όχι, απλά και μόνο γιατί ικανοποιούν τις ¨δημοκρατικές" του ευαισθησίες.
Άρα αν είπε η χ,ψ εφημερίδα της Ν. Κορέας ότι οι κομμουνιστές σφάζουν μωρά (σε πληροφορώ, αυτό έλεγαν οι δεξιές εφημερίδες κατά τη διάρκεια του ελληνικού εμφυλίου). πάει και τελείωσε ισχύει.
Και όπως είπα και πριν άντε και Λιακοπουλο την άλλη φορα…

[B]Οι Κόρε Ύδρο το αγαπημένο συγκρότημα του Κιμ Γιονγκ Ουν

Μια αποκάλυψη-σοκ φέρνει στο φως νοτιοκορεάτικο μουσικό μπλογκ, σύμφωνα με το οποίο ο ηγέτης της Βορείου Κορέας, Κιμ Γιονγκ Ουν είναι λάτρης της μουσικής του ελληνικού συγκροτήματος Κόρε Ύδρο.
Σύμφωνα με το αφιέρωμα του μπλογκ στο μεγάλο στρατηγό, ο 29χρονος ξεχωρίζει τους Κόρε Ύδρο σαν το αγαπημένο του μουσικό συγκρότημα όλων των εποχών. Ο συντάκτης του άρθρου μας πληροφορεί πως, σύμφωνα με έγκυρες πηγές, ο νεαρός ηγέτης περνάει το μεγαλύτερο μέρος της ημέρας του ακούγοντας τραγούδια του σχήματος από την Κέρκυρα, τα οποία μάλιστα ουκ ολίγες φορές «συλλαμβάνεται» να σιγοτραγουδάει. Η άγνοιά του μάλιστα για τους στίχους τον οδήγησε στο να προσλάβει ειδικό μεταφραστή, προκειμένου να του εξηγήσει το περιεχόμενο του κάθε κομματιού.
Ο Κιμ Γιονγκ Ουν, παρ? ότι δεν συνηθίζει να είναι ιδιαίτερα εκδηλωτικός στην προσωπική του ζωή, φαίνεται πως συγκινείται από τη μελωδική ποίηση των Κόρε Ύδρο, σε σημείο που έχει επιβάλλει σε όλα τα σχολεία της χώρας να παίζουν τραγούδια του συγκροτήματος κατά τη διάρκεια των διαλειμμάτων. Ο ενθουσιασμός του δεν σταματάει όμως εκεί. Σύμφωνα με το ιστολόγιο, οι κακές γλώσσες της Πιονγκγιάνγκ αποκαλύπτουν ότι έχει απαγορευθεί στον προσωπικό του οδηγό να παίζει οτιδήποτε άλλο μέσα στο όχημα με το οποίο μετακινείται ο Κιμ, ειδικά κατά τις εξόδους του τα Σαββατόβραδα. Τέλος, άνθρωποι του στενού περιβάλλοντος του δυνάστη αναφέρουν πως ο νεαρός αρχηγός κράτους συχνά αγναντεύει το πέλαγος προς τις ακτές της Νοτίου Κορέας από τον θάλαμο Πυρηνικού Ελέγχου της οικίας του, υπό τους ήχους της «Συμφιλίωσης», πρόσφατης επιτυχίας των Κόρε Ύδρο, ενώ η πρόσφατη άρνηση του Μπαράκ Ομπάμα να τον συναντήσει τον έκανε να σιγοτραγουδάει διαρκώς τους στίχους «μα η απόρριψη το ξέρει πως δεν υπάρχει κακός, υπάρχει μόνο ένα χέρι που μας σβήνει τη νύχτα το φως».
Το «Κουλούρι» προσπάθησε να έρθει σε επαφή με τον Βορειοκορεάτη ηγέτη, σχετικά με το θέμα, βρίσκοντας δυστυχώς όλες τις πόρτες κλειστές. Πληροφορίες ωστόσο κάνουν λόγο πως ο Κιμ Γιονγκ Ουν θα βρίσκεται ινκόγκνιτο το Σάββατο στη συναυλία του συγκροτήματος στο Gagarin προκειμένου να απολαύσει για πρώτη φορά ζωντανά τα αγαπημένα του κομμάτια.

[B]When War is Swell: the Carlyle Group and the Middle East at War[/B]
A couple of weeks ago, in a dress rehearsal for her next presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton, [I]the doyenne of humanitarian interventionism[/I], [B]made a pit-stop at the Carlyle Group[/B] to brief former luminaries of the imperial war rooms about her shoot-first-don?t-ask-questions foreign policy.
For those of you who have put the playbill of the Bush administration into a time capsule and buried it beneath the compost bin, [B]the Carlyle Group is essentially a hedge fund for war-making and high tech espionage.[/B] [B]They are the people who brought you the Iraq war and all those intrusive niceties of Homeland Security.[/B] Call them the Knights of the Revolving Door, many of Carlyle?s executives and investors having spent decades in the Pentagon, the CIA or the State Department, before cashing in for more lucrative careers as war profiteers. [B]They are now licking their chops at the prospect for an all-out war against Syria, no doubt hoping that the conflagration will soon spread to Lebanon, Jordan and, the big prize, Iran.[/B]
For a refresher course on the sprawling tentacles of the Carlyle Group, here?s an essay that first appeared in CounterPunch?s print edition in 2004. Sadly, not much has changed in the intervening years, except these feted souls have gotten much, much richer. ? JSC
Across all fronts, Bush?s war deteriorates with stunning rapidity. The death count of American soldiers killed in Iraq will soon top 1000, with no end in sight. The members of the handpicked Iraqi Governor Council are being knocked off one after another. Once loyal Shia clerics, like Ayatollah Sistani, are now telling the administration to pull out or face a nationalist insurgency. The trail of culpability for the abuse, torture and murder of Iraqi detainees seems to lead inexorably into the office of Donald Rumsfeld. The war for Iraqi oil has ended up driving the price of crude oil through the roof. Even Kurdish leaders, brutalized by the Ba?athists for decades, are now saying Iraq was a safer place under their nemesis Saddam Hussein. Like Medea whacking her own kids, the US turned on its own creation, Ahmed Chalabi, raiding his Baghdad compound and fingering him as an agent of the ayatollahs of Iran. And on and on it goes.
Still not all of the president?s men are in a despairing mood. Amid the wreckage, there remain opportunities for profit and plunder. Halliburton and Bechtel?s triumphs in Iraq have been chewed over for months. [B]Less well chronicled is the profiteering of the Carlyle Group, [SIZE=“3”]a company with ties that extend directly into the Oval Office itself.[/SIZE][/B]
Even Pappy Bush stands in line to profit handsomely from his son?s war making. [B]The former president is on retainer with the Carlyle Group, the largest privately held defense contractor in the nation.[/B] Carlyle is run by Frank Carlucci, who served as the National Security advisor and Secretary of Defense under Ronald Reagan. Carlucci has his own embeds in the current Bush administration. At Princeton, his college roommate was Donald Rumsfeld. They?ve remained close friends and business associates ever since. When you have friends like this, you don?t need to hire lobbyists…
[B]Bush Sr. serves as a kind of global emissary for Carlyle[/B]. The ex-president doesn?t negotiate arms deals; he simply opens the door for them, a kind of high level meet-and-greet. [B]His special area of influence is the Middle East, primarily Saudi Arabia, where the Bush family has extensive business and political ties. According to an account in the Washington Post, Bush Sr. earns around $500,000 for each speech he makes on Carlyle?s behalf.[/B]
[B]One of the Saudi investors lured to Carlyle by Bush was the BinLaden Group, the construction conglomerate owned by the family of Osama bin Laden.[/B] [B]According to an investigation by the Wall Street Journal, Bush convinced Shafiq Bin Laden, Osama?s half brother, to sink $2 million of BinLaden Group money into Carlyle?s accounts.[/B] In a pr move, the Carlyle group cut its ties to the BinLaden Group in October 2001.
One of Bush Sr.?s top sidekicks, James Baker, is also a key player at Carlyle. Baker joined the weapons firm in 1993, fresh from his stint as Bush?s secretary of state and chief of staff. Packing a briefcase of global contacts, Baker parlayed his connections with heads of state, generals and international tycoons into a bonanza for Carlyle. After Baker joined the company, Carlyle?s revenues more than tripled.
Like Bush Sr., Baker?s main function was to manage Carlyle?s lucrative relationship with Saudi potentates, who had invested tens of millions of dollars in the company. Baker helped secure one of Carlyle?s most lucrative deals: the contract to run the Saudi offset program, a multi-billion dollar scheme wherein international companies winning Saudi contracts are required under terms of the contracts to invest a percentage of the profits in Saudi companies.
Baker not only greases the way for investment deals and arms sales, but he also plays the role of seasoned troubleshooter, protecting the interests of key clients and regimes. A case in point: when the Justice Department launched an investigation into the financial dealings of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi prince sought out Baker?s help. [B]Baker is currently defending the prince in a trillion dollar lawsuit brought by the families of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.[/B] The suit alleges that the prince used Islamic charities as pass-throughs for shipping millions of dollars to groups linked to al-Qaeda.
Baker and Carlyle enjoy another ace in the hole when it comes to looking out for their Saudi friends. Baker prevailed on Bush Jr. to appoint his former law partner, Bob Jordan, as the administration?s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Carlyle and its network of investors are well positioned to cash in on Bush Jr.?s expansion of the defense and Homeland Security department budgets. [B]Two Carlyle companies, Federal Data Systems and US Investigations Services, hold multi-billion dollar contracts to provide background checks for commercial airlines, the Pentagon, the CIA and the Department of Homeland Security.[/B] USIS was once a federal agency called the Office Federal Investigations, but it was privatized in 1996 at the urging of Baker and others and was soon gobbled up by Carlyle. The company is now housed in ?high-security, state-of-the-art, underground complex? in Annandale, Pennsylvania. USIS now does 2.4 million background checks a year, largely for the federal government.
[B]Another Carlyle subsidiary, Vought Aircraft, holds more than a billion dollars in federal contracts to provide components for the C-117 transport plane, the B-2 bomber and the Apache attack helicopter.[/B] Prior to 2001, Vought had fallen on hard times. Just before the 9/11 attacks, Vought announced that it was laying off more than 1,200 employees, more than 20 percent of its workforce. But business picked up briskly following the airstrikes on Afghanistan and the war on Iraq.
In 2002, Carlyle sold off its biggest holding, United Defense. The sale may have been prompted by insider information leaked to Carlucci by his pal Rumsfeld. In early 2001, Carlyle was furiously lobbying the Pentagon to approve contracts for the production of United Defense?s Crusader artillery system, an unwieldy and outrageously expensive super-cannon. Rumsfeld disliked the Crusader and had it high on his hit list of weapon systems to be killed off in order to save money for other big ticket schemes, particularly the Strategic Defense Initiative.
But, as detailed in William Hartung?s excellent book, How Much Are You Making in the War, Daddy?, Rumsfeld didn?t terminate the Crusader immediately. Instead, he held off on a public announcement of his decision for more than a year. By that time, Carlucci and Baker devised a plan to take United Defense public. The sale to unsuspecting investors netted Carlyle more than $237 million. Six months later, Rumsfeld closed the book on the Crusader. By then the gang at Carlyle had slipped out the back door, their pockets stuffed with cash. United Defense was able to petition the Pentagon to compensate them to the tune of several million for cancellation of the contract. Even when you lose, you win.
So the men behind the Carlyle Group drift through Washington like familiar ghosts, profiteering off the carnage of Bush?s disastrous crusades, untroubled by any thought of congressional investigation or criminal prosecution, firm in the knowledge that the worse things get for the people of the world, the less secure and more gripped by fear the citizens their own country become, the more millions they will reap for themselves. Perpetual war means perpetual profits.

[B]Syrians In Ghouta Claim Saudi-Supplied Rebels Behind Chemical Attack[/B]

Ghouta, Syria ? As the machinery for a U.S.-led military intervention in Syria gathers pace following last week?s chemical weapons attack, the U.S. and its allies may be targeting the wrong culprit.
Interviews with people in Damascus and Ghouta, a suburb of the Syrian capital, where the humanitarian agency Doctors Without Borders said at least 355 people had died last week from what it believed to be a neurotoxic agent, appear to indicate as much.
The U.S., Britain, and France as well as the Arab League have accused the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for carrying out the chemical weapons attack, which mainly targeted civilians. U.S. warships are stationed in the Mediterranean Sea to launch military strikes against Syria in punishment for carrying out a massive chemical weapons attack. The U.S. and others are not interested in examining any contrary evidence, with U.S Secretary of State John Kerry saying Monday that Assad?s guilt was ?a judgment ? already clear to the world.?
However, from numerous interviews with doctors, Ghouta residents, rebel fighters and their families, a different picture emerges. Many believe that certain rebels received chemical weapons via the Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and were responsible for carrying out the dealing gas attack.
?My son came to me two weeks ago asking what I thought the weapons were that he had been asked to carry,? said Abu Abdel-Moneim, the father of a rebel fighting to unseat Assad, who lives in Ghouta.
Abdel-Moneim said his son and 12 other rebels were killed inside of a tunnel used to store weapons provided by a Saudi militant, known as Abu Ayesha, who was leading a fighting battalion. The father described the weapons as having a ?tube-like structure? while others were like a ?huge gas bottle.?
Ghouta townspeople said the rebels were using mosques and private houses to sleep while storing their weapons in tunnels.
Abdel-Moneim said his son and the others died during the chemical weapons attack. That same day, the militant group Jabhat al-Nusra, which is linked to al-Qaida, announced that it would similarly attack civilians in the Assad regime?s heartland of Latakia on Syria?s western coast, in purported retaliation.
?They didn?t tell us what these arms were or how to use them,? complained a female fighter named ?K.? ?We didn?t know they were chemical weapons. We never imagined they were chemical weapons.?
?When Saudi Prince Bandar gives such weapons to people, he must give them to those who know how to handle and use them,? she warned. She, like other Syrians, do not want to use their full names for fear of retribution.
A well-known rebel leader in Ghouta named ?J? agreed. ?Jabhat al-Nusra militants do not cooperate with other rebels, except with fighting on the ground. They do not share secret information. They merely used some ordinary rebels to carry and operate this material,? he said.
?We were very curious about these arms. And unfortunately, some of the fighters handled the weapons improperly and set off the explosions,? ?J? said.
Doctors who treated the chemical weapons attack victims cautioned interviewers to be careful about asking questions regarding who, exactly, was responsible for the deadly assault.
The humanitarian group Doctors Without Borders added that health workers aiding 3,600 patients also reported experiencing similar symptoms, including frothing at the mouth, respiratory distress, convulsions and blurry vision. The group has not been able to independently verify the information.
More than a dozen rebels interviewed reported that their salaries came from the Saudi government.
[B]Saudi involvement
[/B]
In a recent article for Business Insider, reporter Geoffrey Ingersoll highlighted Saudi Prince Bandar?s role in the two-and-a-half year Syrian civil war. Many observers believe Bandar, with his close ties to Washington, has been at the very heart of the push for war by the U.S. against Assad.Ingersoll referred to an article in the U.K.?s Daily Telegraph about secret Russian-Saudi talks alleging that Bandar offered Russian President Vladimir Putin cheap oil in exchange for dumping Assad.
?Prince Bandar pledged to safeguard Russia?s naval base in Syria if the Assad regime is toppled, but he also hinted at Chechen terrorist attacks on Russia?s Winter Olympics in Sochi if there is no accord,? Ingersoll wrote.
?I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics next year. The Chechen groups that threaten the security of the games are controlled by us,? Bandar allegedly told the Russians.
?Along with Saudi officials, the U.S. allegedly gave the Saudi intelligence chief the thumbs up to conduct these talks with Russia, which comes as no surprise,? Ingersoll wrote.
?Bandar is American-educated, both military and collegiate, served as a highly influential Saudi Ambassador to the U.S., and the CIA totally loves this guy,? he added.
According to U.K.?s Independent newspaper, it was Prince Bandar?s intelligence agency that first brought allegations of the use of sarin gas by the regime to the attention of Western allies in February.
The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the CIA realized Saudi Arabia was ?serious? about toppling Assad when the Saudi king named Prince Bandar to lead the effort.
?They believed that Prince Bandar, a veteran of the diplomatic intrigues of Washington and the Arab world, could deliver what the CIA couldn?t: planeloads of money and arms, and, as one U.S. diplomat put it, wasta, Arabic for under-the-table clout,? it said.
Bandar has been advancing Saudi Arabia?s top foreign policy goal, WSJ reported, of defeating Assad and his Iranian and Hezbollah allies.
To that aim, Bandar worked Washington to back a program to arm and train rebels out of a planned military base in Jordan.
The newspaper reports that he met with the ?uneasy Jordanians about such a base?:
His meetings in Amman with Jordan?s King Abdullah sometimes ran to eight hours in a single sitting. ?The king would joke: ?Oh, Bandar?s coming again? Let?s clear two days for the meeting,? ? said a person familiar with the meetings.
Jordan?s financial dependence on Saudi Arabia may have given the Saudis strong leverage. An operations center in Jordan started going online in the summer of 2012, including an airstrip and warehouses for arms. Saudi-procured AK-47s and ammunition arrived, WSJ reported, citing Arab officials.
Although Saudi Arabia has officially maintained that it supported more moderate rebels, the newspaper reported that ?funds and arms were being funneled to radicals on the side, simply to counter the influence of rival Islamists backed by Qatar.?
But rebels interviewed said Prince Bandar is referred to as ?al-Habib? or ?the lover? by al-Qaida militants fighting in Syria.
Peter Oborne, writing in the Daily Telegraph on Thursday, has issued a word of caution about Washington?s rush to punish the Assad regime with so-called ?limited? strikes not meant to overthrow the Syrian leader but diminish his capacity to use chemical weapons:
Consider this: the only beneficiaries from the atrocity were the rebels, previously losing the war, who now have Britain and America ready to intervene on their side. While there seems to be little doubt that chemical weapons were used, there is doubt about who deployed them.
It is important to remember that Assad has been accused of using poison gas against civilians before. But on that occasion, Carla del Ponte, a U.N. commissioner on Syria, concluded that the rebels, not Assad, were probably responsible.

Στην περίπτωσή μας, ευτυχώς, ίσχυσε η εξαίρεση. Μικροπροβλήματα ήχου και εικόνας μόνο, που ελάχιστα επηρέασαν την επικοινωνία μας. Υπάρχει μεγάλος πανικός αυτή την ώρα. Όλοι φοβούνται το χτύπημα των Αμερικανών. Λένε πως θα γίνει κόλαση ολόκληρη η περιοχή. Είναι κρίσιμο το επόμενο 48ωρο. Σήμερα μοιράσαμε και μάσκες. Αυτή τη στιγμή ο Δημήτρης Μόγνιε βρίσκεται στη νότια Συρία κοντά στα σύνορα με την Ιορδανία. Σ΄ένα μικρό χωριό της επαρχίας Ντεράα, πολύ κοντά στην πόλη Μπόσρα αλ Χαρίρ που ελέγχεται από τους αντάρτες. Ασκεί την ειδικότητά του, δηλαδή χειρουργική πολέμου, σ’ ένα πρόχειρο νοσοκομείο εκστρατείας μιας ευρωπαϊκής ανθρωπιστικής οργάνωσης ενώ ταυτοχρόνως εκπαιδεύει και συντονίζει την ομάδα των γιατρών και των νοσοκόμων που δουλεύουν μαζί του. Βλέπεις, οι καλοί γιατροί, οι γιατροί με ειδικότητα, έχουν εδώ και καιρό φύγει από τη Συρία. Αφενός διότι είχαν την οικονομική ευχέρεια να το κάνουν αφετέρου διότι δεν πιστεύουν σ’ αυτήν την επανάσταση. Εξαρχής δεν την πίστεψαν. Εκείνοι που έμειναν πίσω είναι οι γενικοί γιατροί, οι άπειροι και οι φοιτητές. Το αντίθετο, δηλαδή, απ’ ότι συνέβαινε στη Λιβύη. Εκεί, οι καλοί γιατροί του εξωτερικού γύριζαν μαζικά για να βοηθήσουν. Και μάλιστα δίχως αμοιβή. Σκέψου ότι εδώ οι άνθρωποι πεθαίνουν άδικα από μια αιμορραγία γιατί δεν υπάρχουν γνώστες να τη σταματήσουν. Στο νοσοκομείο μας, εκτός από εμένα, ειδικευμένοι είναι άλλοι δύο. Κι αυτοί ξένοι. Ένας ισπανός χειρούργος, κι ένας ινδονήσιος εντατικολόγος. Οι υπόλοιποι της ομάδας είναι σύροι. Δύο τελειόφοιτοι ιατρικής, δύο κτηνίατροι (!!) ένας φαρμακοποιός, ένας οδοντίατρος, ένας φοιτητής οδοντιατρικής και 20 τελείως άσχετοι με την ιατρική που τους έχουμε εκπαιδεύσει για να παρέχουν επί τόπου πρώτες βοήθειες. Για μένα είναι προδοσία η φυγή. Είσαι γιατρός. Πρέπει να κάτσεις να βοηθήσεις.
Η εκτίμησή του για το αμερικανικό χτύπημα που έρχεται είναι πως μόνο βλαξ θα επιχειρούσε σοβαρή εμπλοκή τύπου Ιράκ στη Συρία. Μην ξεχνάς ότι εδώ στη μάχη είναι η Χεζμπολά. Και Χεζμπολά σημαίνει 100.000 πύραυλοι έτοιμοι να φύγουν από το το νότιο Λίβανο προς το Ισραήλ. Και τότε το Ισραήλ θα χτυπήσει το Λίβανο. Και μετά θα γίνει το σώσε…
Και για το σώσε που γίνεται περίπου τρία χρόνια στη Συρία -τι λες;
[B]Ο πιο βρώμικος πόλεμος που έχω ζήσει σ’ όλη μου τη ζωή είναι αυτός εδώ. Αντάρτικες συμμορίες που δεν ακούν κανέναν. Από 50 μέχρι 150 μέλη. Αυτοαποκαλούνται κατίμπα που σημαίνει διμοιρία. Ανεξέλεγκτες. Σκοτώνουν κι αλληλοσκοτώνονται, συνήθως γιατί δεν τα βρίσκουν στη μοιρασιά της λείας από τα σπίτια που έχουν κλέψει. Πάρα πολλοί πρώην κατάδικοι. Αλ Κάιντα οι περισσότεροι. Η Νούσρα, η Νταουλάτ αλ Ισλάμ φι Μπιλάντ αλ Σαμ και κάποιες ομάδες του Ελεύθερου Συριακού Στρατού είναι αυτές που πρωτοστατούν. Η Νούσρα έχει ήδη επιβάλλει ισλαμικό νόμο στις περιοχές που ελέγχει και απαγορεύει στις γυναίκες να κυκλοφορούν χωρίς μαντήλα. Κυρίως στη Ράκα και το Χαλέπι.‘Επειτα, είναι οι βιασμοί. Πολλοί βιασμοί. Παιδιά, Γυναίκες.[/B] Στις αρχές του χρόνου εκπαίδευα γιατρούς στη Ράκα. Βόρεια Συρία. Γνωρίζω έναν καταπληκτικό άνθρωπο που προσπαθούσε να φυγαδεύσει τη γυναίκα και τις τρεις του κόρες στην Τουρκία. Κλαίγοντας και ουρλιάζοντας μου περιέγραφε πώς δεν τα κατάφερε, διότι ένας αντάρτης σ’ ένα μπλόκο απαιτούσε για να τους αφήσει να προχωρήσουν να περάσει μία ώρα με μία από τις μικρές. Άκου κι αυτή την ιστορία. Μια κοπέλα μου φέρνει την τραυματισμένη αδελφή της στο νοσοκομείο. Και την επομένη μπαίνει κλαίγοντας στο γραφείο και μου λέει ότι ένας αντάρτης απέξω την απειλεί πως αν δεν πάει μαζί του θα κάνει κακό και στην τραυματία και σ’ όποιον πετύχει από την οικογένειά τους. [B]Έχουν θησαυρίσει αντάρτες. Με βαλίτσες περνάνε τα δολάρια στην Τουρκία για ν’ αγοράσουν τάχα μου πετρέλαιο και είδη πρώτης ανάγκης. Κάθε καρυδιάς καρύδι είναι εδώ. Ιορδανοί, Υεμενίτες, Τσετσένοι, Τυνήσιοι, Λίβυοι. Μόνο οι Λίβυοι είναι 7000. Μαχητές που είχα γνωρίσει εκεί τους είδα κι εδώ.[/B] Ντοκτόρ Ντιμίτρις, ντοκτόρ Ντιμίτρις -μου φώναζε από μακριά ένας τις προάλλες.
Βρε Ιμάντ εσύ είσαι;
Εγώ, ντοκτόρ. Τι κάνεις εδώ;
Τη δουλειά μου.
Κι εγώ τη δικιά μου ντοκτόρ…
Ένας άλλος, σύρος αυτός, μου έλεγε -ήταν ωραία χώρα η Συρία. Την καταστρέψαμε.
Και γιατί πολεμάς τότε;
Ε, αφού παίρνω 1200 δολάρια το μήνα…
[B]Και δεν είναι μόνο τα 1200, δηλαδή ο μισθός που τους κόβουν σαουδάραβες και καταριανοί που δεν θέλουν τον ‘Ασαντ, είναι κι η λεία απ’ το πλιάτσικο. Υπάρχουν άνθρωποι εδώ που παρακαλάνε να μην τελειώσει ο πόλεμος. Όχι ότι το καθεστώς είναι καλύτερο… Γι αυτό σου λέω -ο πιο βρώμικος πόλεμος που έχω ζήσει μέχρι σήμερα.[/B]
Να φύγεις πάντως δεν λες…
Όχι. Δηλαδή, ναι. Πρέπει να φύγω τώρα. Είμαι στο δεύτερο υπόγειο που έχω τον υπολογιστή. Το νοσοκομείο είναι από πάνω. Πρέπει να γυρίσω. Έχουν έρθει κάποιοι τραυματίες. Ο συριακός στρατός έχει ξεκινήσει μεγάλη επιχείρηση από το μεσημέρι . Συνέχεια έρχονται τραυματίες. Με φωνάζουν. Πάω πάνω να δω…

Ο αδερφός μου πάντως που λόγω 2 χειρουργείων στη μέση έχει μείνει 2 φορές μέσα σε 5 χρόνια από 15-20 μέρες σε πλήρη ακινησία (μόνο για κατούρημα χέσιμο σηκώνεσαι) στο κρεββάτι έφτανε σε σημεία να μην την παλεύει άλλο… Παίζει και να τρελαινόμουν αν καθόμουν 70 μέρες σε ένα κρεβάτι…
σε άλλα νέα από το παράλληλο σύμπαν της Σκανδιναβίας, πρέπει να έχουν τέτοια η έλλειψη προβλημάτων στη Σουηδία που το επόμενο στην λίστα τους ήταν αν θα μπορούν να την παίζουν στο δρόμο… και το επέτρεψαν κι αυτό…

Υπάλληλοι σούπερ μάρκετ “εκπαιδεύονταν” με καψόνια
Με καψόνια εκπαιδεύονταν μαθητευόμενοι υπάλληλοι της αλυσίδας εκπτωτικών σούπερ μάρκετ Aldi, όπως αποκάλυψε το περιοδικό Spiegel και επιβεβαίωσε η διεύθυνση του καταστήματος στο κρατίδιο της Βάδης-Βυρτεμβέργης, όπου ακολουθούσαν την συγκεκριμένη τακτική.
Οι υπάλληλοι δένονταν σε στύλους με διαφανή μεμβράνη περιτυλίγματος και τους ζωγράφιζαν το πρόσωπο με μαρκαδόρους.
Εκπρόσωπος του ομίλου εξέφρασε τον αποτροπιασμό της διοίκησης για τα γεγονότα, ωστόσο αυτό δεν ήταν αρκετό, με τις δικαστικές αρχές της Γερμανίας να διατάζουν έρευνα με την κατηγορία της σωματικής βλάβης και της στέρησης της ελευθερίας.

Τόσα χρόνια οι τεμπέληδες Αμερικάνοι ζούσαν πάνω από τις δυνατότητες τους. Ήρθε η ώρα να μπει τάξη στην τελευταία Σοβιετία του πλανήτη.
