Hello friends!
First of all we would like to thank the fans that supported the festival on IV edition and the bands that were all amazing both as persons and musicians!!
Now we are happy to announce the date and the first bands for the 5th edition of up the hammers festival which will take place in Athens Greece on 5&6 March 2010.
WILD KNIGHT from uk is led by the original X-WILD singer FRANK KNIGHT, and the classic RUNNING WILD guitarist MAJK MOTI. They have set incl. classic X-WILD and RUNNING WILD songs (like “Under Jolly Roger”, “Death Or Glory”. “Prisoner Of Our Time” etc.).Since I don?t think we will ever see Running wild in Greece this is the closest thing you can get.
The legendary Greek heavy metal band MARAUDER will celebrate their 20th anniversary and the 10 years after the release of ?1821?(certainly one of the most important Greek Heavy metal records ever). They will perform a special ?1821? album set plus a lot of classics together with special guests of former members!
FAITH FACTOR feat. SKI of DEADLY BLESSING strikes Greece. There will be a poll on the festival forum to choose the songs from DEADLY BLESSING that you wish the band to play.
DANTESCO from Puerto Rico are once again on the line up and we hope there will be no health problems this time!
First Cypriot band to appear at our festival ARRYAN PATH and the Swedish newcomers IN SOLITUDE and ENFORCER complete the first line up announcement.

OK, ας πω κι εγω τη βλακεια/επιθυμια μου γιατι το εχω απωθημενο: θελω να δω Doomsword και Jag Panzer για να κατεδαφιστει η Αθηνα. Δυσκολο φανταζομαι, αλλα οι Panzer πανε με ολα και οι ιταλοι εχουν διαλυσει το συμπαν με τους τελευταιους δισκους. Οσον αφορα το τρεχον line up, θα εχει πλακα να ακουσω RW επειτα απο πολλα χρονια εστω κι με αυτη τη μορφη.
Καλη επιτυχια στη διοργανωση.
Εχασα το φετινο απο μαλακια, αλλα αυτο δεν το χανω…Marauder, Enforcer, Wild Knight, Faith Factor ειναι μια χαρα ονοματα για αρχη…Θελω Doomsword, Jag Panzer, Riot και Watchtower…Γινετε???
Τουλάχιστον ένα από αυτά που ζητάς έχει ακουστεί οτι θα είναι headliners…Αλλά επειδή δεν ξέρω τπτ επίσημα, θα περιμένουμε την ανακοίνωση!

αυτο που ξέρω στα σίγουρα είναι πως έχουν επαναδραστηριοποιηθεί επιτυχώς μετά την πρόσφατη άστοχη προσπάθεια και σε λίγο θα είναι έτοιμοι γιά live. οπότε διατηρώ το δικαίωμα στο όνειρο
