Αυτος ειναι κι ο βασικος λογος που επανεκδιδεται.
Στα του δισκου ομως απο πλευρας συνθεσεων, ειναι πολυ, πολυ ομορφος. Μαλλον οχι ομορφος, γλυκοπικρος, σκοτεινος, γινεται και ψιλοτραγικος σε φασεις. Σιγουρα στις πιο αξιολογες κυκλοφοριες για εφετος. Δε τον συγκρινω ακομα με το φετινο No Man, προτιμω να περασει καποιος καιρος. Επισης, καλυτερα να παιχτει καμια ολοκληρωτικη στροφη με Porcupine, επειδη οι τασεις πειραματισμου εγιναν παραπανω απο εμφανεις.
Κορυφη παντως δε χτυπαει.

nsurgentes special edition repress?
OK, I’m actually considering this, because of the ABSURD prices people are paying for the deluxe editions on eBay. My intention was never to create such a chasm between supply / demand such that people could take such advantage of the situation like this. You might justifiably say, well why did you make such a small number if you didn’t want this to happen? Hindsight is a fine thing - the simple answer to that is that they were so expensive to make that I had to err somewhere between caution and what I thought I could sell if things went fantastically well. Despite the fact there was hardly any mark up (although people still complained about the price, which frankly at the time I found astonishing given what was being offered) it was an expensive piece so I thought that I’d be doing well to sell 4,000 from one single point of mail order in these recessionary times. Guess I was wrong, and it seems that now people are prepared to pay more than 10 times my original price to get a copy. That’s extreme, so I have to now seriously consider going back on my word of maintaining the announced limitation, to try to take the market away from the eBayers. So what do you think? I welcome your thoughts on this. It makes very little difference to me personally, but it pisses me off that fans who clearly want to own this beautiful edition didn’t get a copy because people who obviously never wanted it in the first place (or somehow managed to get multiple copies) snapped them up, and are now selling them at crazy prices. And I guess I’m the only one that can fix that with a second edition.
By the way my friend Charles from Crazy Diamond is going to auction off about 20 copies over the next few weeks, and the money will go to charity. This is with my approval, in an attempt to mitigate some of the bidding going on (the theory being that the more copies on sale the more the bidding will be spread out). So if you do feel you have to have a copy and will pay anything for it, please bid for one of these copies. Thanks.

PSS - Just to clarify, there will be an easily available and unlimited 2 disc release of the album in stereo/5.1 sound coming in Feb, so it’s not like I only intended 4,000 people to ever be able to own Insurgentes. It’s specifically the special edition book we are talking about here (and the bonus CD which is exclusive to that release). Just wanted to be absolutely clear about that - no-one has to buy the deluxe edition to get the album itself.

Προπαραγγελια του κανονικου CD με το DVD ξεκινησε…ισως καλυτερη λυση αυτο απο το SPECIAL και σιγουρα πολυ πιο φτηνο. Ποιος χρειαζεται 120 σελιδες βιβλιο χωρις στιχους και με 60 απο τις σελιδες να δειχνουν καμενες κουκλες - καλο ειναι αλλα οχι και αναγκαιο. Το μειονεκτημα ειναι το Bonus cd αλλα σιγα μην δεν βρεθει με τον γνωστο τροπο.
Αφού οι ακροάσεις έφτασαν σε έναν τεράστιο διψήφιο αριθμό, απεφάνθει ότι είναι αναμφίβολα ο δίσκος της χρονιάς.
Δεν υπάρχει ούτε μια αδύναμη στιγμή. Ο δίσκος παίζει διαρκώς ολόκληρος μαζί και τα μπόνους τα τραγούδια. Τελειότητα απλά.
ωραίος ο δίσκος αλλά εμένα αυτα τα περίεργα με σπέσιαλ κ σπάνιες εκδόσεις και σου πα μου πες με ξενερώνουνε.
αναλογα πως το βλεπεις το ποτηρι…μισοαδειο η μιδογεματο…εν μρει δηλαδη εχεις δικιο…αλλα προσωπικα τις τιμω συνηθως τις σπεσιαλ-σπανιες εκδοσεις. Φετιχισμος.
Τελικα να η απαντηση του Wilson για το αν θα βγουν και αλλα κομματια…

I can see many people would have loved another chance to get a copy, but after weighing things up I have decided NOT to do another pressing of the deluxe edition. Although I don’t think it’s right that eBayers should make such a killing from selling the piece, neither do I feel it’s right that I would go back on my word to limit it to 4,000 copies, so that will stand. I think the best thing is that I figure out another way to release at least the bonus tracks at a later date. I guess that means that the book edition seems destined to be forever bought and sold on eBay for inflated amounts, which I’m really sorry about. It was an underestimation of demand on my part, and I most certainly would have ordered twice as many if I had believed I could sell them. On the plus side of course I have to be happy that there has been so much more interest than I expected in this album. (-:[/B][/I]
μαλιστα…οποτε θα βολευτουμε με την retail εκδοση του αλμπουμ στις 24/02. Η οποια μονο αμελητεα δεν θα ειναι. Digibook με cd και DVDA 5.1.
To bonus cd ειναι το θεμα. Παναθεμα με δηλαδη.
δε μας χέζεις ρε στηβεν.
Τελικα οσο το ακους τοσο περισσοτερα ανακαλυπτεις…
μολις παρακολουθησα μια μαχη στο ebay για την εκδοση με τα cd/Dvd… Εληξε ισοπαλη με μεταξυ δυο bidder με προσφορες 220 λιρες (256 ευρω), αλλα τελικα δεν πωληθηκε σε κανενα, γιατι ο πωλητης ειχε βαλει ελαχιστο οριο που δεν καλυφθηκε. Μα καλα ποσα θελει κ αυτος??

Μετα απο πολλες ακροασεις για μενα ειναι ο δισκος της χρονιας. Αν και η κανονικη εκδοση θα κυκλοφορησει εντος του 2009. 
το δισκάκι είναι εξαίσιο. θα χτυπήσει ψηλη θέση. η έμπνευση δεν λέει να τον αφήσει…
εγω παλι εχω αρρωστησει.μολις εμαθα οτι κολλητος φιλος που ειναι σε δισκογραφικα,θα εχει την ευθυνη να ‘γυρισει’ τον wilson στην αθηνα τη δευτερα μετα τη συναυλια…8O 8O
να δω πως θα τον ψησω να με αφησει να ερθω να τους βρω …φαντασου να εχεις απεναντι σου ολοκληρο wilson αραχτο μακρυα απο δισκογραφικα-μαρκετινγκ αγχη…:roll:
κι εμένα μ αρέσει πάρα πολυ ο δίσκος (πάρα πάρα πολύ!) αλλά έχω ξενερώσει άπειρα με αυτα τα σκηνικά με το πουπωςποτεγιατι κυκλοφορει…
αγορασε το αλμπουμ και στην τελικη κατεβασε το bonus disc απο κανα demonoid.
και αμα δειτε τον wilson στο unplugged πειτε του να ερθει και με τους πτ ελλαδα,γιατι το blackfield υλικο ειναι για να τσιμπησουν τα κοριτσακια που ακουνε best.υποκαταστατο με χαμηλα λιπαρα εμπνευσης.
στην τελικη,τους βλεπαμε σε καθε τουρ τους μεχρι να γινει το μπαμ(το 2005) και μετα μας ξεχασε ?..μαλακια.
