Φέτος άκουγα περισσότερο “τα παλιά”. Όσο άκουσα απο τα καίνουρια όμως, ξεχώρισε με ΜΕΓΑΛΗ διαφόρα το LUNAR SHADOW “far from light”.

Κατά τα άλλα, Wintersun, Satyricon (όντως το καλυτερο μετα Volcano), Ayreon, Argus και το Kreator το οποίο μια χαρά μου άρεσε εν αντιθέσει με τους περισσότερους εδώ μέσα.

Αυτά, αλλά για μένα η μεγαλύτερη και πιο απρόσμενη έκπληξη είναι το ντεμπούτο των Locust Leaves. Ο καλύτερος tech metal δίσκος απ’ όλες τις απόψεις. Όλοι τους παίζουν μπαλάρα και ειδικά το αναπάντεχο μέσα στο δίσκο είναι τα φωνητικά του Nick. Αντίθετη από κάθε metal στερεότυπο η ερμηνεία του. Δισκάρα!

Παρα πολυ καλη χρονια φετος - Πολυ μουσικη και ποιοτικα αλμπουμς.

Γενικά καλή χρόνια. Νομίζω πάντως ότι φέτος έμεινα πιο μακριά από κλασικό metal περισσότερο από οποιαδήποτε άλλη φορά.

Myrkur μάλλον η έκπληξη για μένα, Venenum είναι σίγουρα το άλμπουμ που μεγάλωνε με κάθε νέα ακρόαση. Επίσης εντυπωσιακό ότι 5 άλμπουμ της λίστας είναι από μπάντες που άκουσα για πρώτη φορά.

Power Trip και Allochiria ειδικά τελευταία στιγμή τα άφησα εκτός 10αδας. The Night Flight Orchestra έχει μερικά από τα hit-άκια της χρονιάς αλλά γενικά είναι κάπως άνισο.

Στις απογοητεύσεις Kreator και Paradise Lost. 2 φορές στο καθένα άντεξα να δώσω. Ειδικά το Kreator είναι εύκολα ότι χειρότερο έχουν κάνει ποτέ.

Mastodon δεν τους βάζω στις απογοητεύσεις μεν αλλά ομολογώ ότι αν και αρχικά με είχε ψιλο-ενθουσιάσει η νέα τους δουλειά και αρχικά πήρε ακροάσεις με τον καιρό ξεφούσκωσε πάρα πολύ. Πλέον δεν μπορώ να το βάλω να παίζει ολόκληρο με τίποτα.

Απο το Emperor Of Sand μου αρεσε πολυ το κλεισιμο του δισκου(Jaguar God). Με τους Mastodon δεν μπορω να ειμαι αντικειμενικος ομως,ειναι μια μπαντα που ποτε δεν συμπαθησα (δεν μπορω να εξηγησω το γιατι,απλα δεν τους γουσταρω) .
